Sukuna’s Finger is a Special Grade Cursed Object. Each finger contains a fragment of Sukuna’s power. This means that the more fingers the vessel (Yuji Itadori) consumes, the closer it is to the fully incarnated Sukuna. As such, Kenjaku and his team of Curse Users and unregistered Special Grade Cursed Spirits use the instantaneous strength of Sukuna with respect to the number of fingers he consumes. Gojo vs 8 Sukuna Fingers
The first face-off between Sukuna and Gojo is when Yuji consumes the first Sukuna’s Finger that made him the vessel. Even though it was just a twentieth of Sukuna’s full might, it was still enough to overwhelm most of Jujutsu Sorcerers but Gojo still toyed with Sukuna. During the Shibuya Incident Arc, Gojo faced three unregistered Special Grade Cursed Spirits Jogo, Hanami, and Choso in a very disadvantageous situation. Each of these Cursed Spirits is worth at least eight Sukuna’s Finger and given that he couldn’t utilize any of his Cursed Techniques and has to fight in hand-to-hand combat, the difficulty increased even more. But in the end, Gojo still emerges victorious.

When Yuji asks Gojo who would win between him and the fully-incarnated Sukuna, Gojo is still confident in winning although it will be hard as he said. Gojo’s confidence isn’t unfounded. We know how highly Gojo values himself, but he wouldn’t be able to claim the title of the strongest if it isn’t backed by his skills. More and more of Sukuna’s strengths such as his Pyrokinesis Technique, which is even fierier than Jogo’s (whose techniques specialize in fire and heat) on top of his Slashing and Cutting Technique, are revealed and we may see more of his technique since Sukuna is currently five fingers away from being fully incarnated.
How Many Sukuna Fingers is Gojo Worth?
Even though we still haven’t seen the full strength of Sukuna, we have seen enough of Gojo’s skills and are convinced that Gojo can face the fully incarnated Sukuna. We haven’t seen Gojo get serious in a fight yet or get injured even when he faces multiple of the strongest Cursed Spirits, so Gojo at the very least is worth all twenty Sukuna’s Fingers.
