Appearance
Nobara Kugisaki is only 5’3” (160 cm in stature). She has ginger-colored mid-length hair reaching to her neck that is swooped to one side, matching her orange eyes, lengthy eyelashes, and thin eyebrows.

Like all Jujustsu High students, Nobara wears a long skirt that ends just above her knees and a dark blue gakuran-style top (a button-down jacket). In addition to her distinctive brown belt, which holds her jujutsu equipment, she also wears black stockings and brown shoes.
Personality
In her small town, Nobara was outspoken even at a young age. She thought everyone was crazy and wanted to leave the small countryside for city life. With an unshakable character, Nobara is a confident and bold young woman. Nothing is more critical to Nobara than staying true to who she is. She takes great pride in being both a pretty girl and a strong fighter and refuses to let anyone influence her.
Upon first meeting, Nobara appears to be very obnoxious and arrogant. In her first introduction of herself to Yuji and Megumi, she does so by expressing how inferior they are. She also argued with Yuji during the significant part of their first mission together.
Nobara is a fierce fighter with a strong feeling of responsibility as a jujutsu sorcerer. Nobara’s pride suffered during the Shibuya Incident due to her close call to defeat at the hands of Haruta Shigemo. Nobara intended to make amends for herself after being saved by Kento Nanami by aiding in the release of Satoru from his seal. Nanami, however, forbade her from doing so and told her to wait until help arrived. Rather than leave the city while her companions were still engaged in battle, Nobara disregarded Nanami’s advice.

Nobara has often shown that she can compete with jujutsu practitioners who are in grades higher than her. Black Flash
Within 0.000001 seconds of a physical hit, Black Flash creates spatial distortion when the user is hit by cursed energy. When cursed energy flashes black, it makes an attack equal to 2.5 times the power of a regular hit. Kechizu experienced Black Flash for the first time from Nobara, who also brought the curse dangerously close to death.
Straw Doll Technique
Nobara’s straw doll technique uses jujutsu in conjunction with a set of implements that includes a hammer, nails, and a straw doll. Nobara can employ various techniques by channeling her cursed energy through the tools, simultaneously damaging her target and straw doll.
Hairpin

Only newcomers to her village, like Fumi and Saori, drew Nobara’s attention, particularly the latter. She had great respect for Saori, so when she was made to leave the neighborhood, she was disappointed. Nobara yearned to meet Saori again and wanted to go to the hamlet more once Saori left. Nobara promised Fumi that the three would meet in Tokyo before she entered Jujutsu High. And after several missions together, fellow allies Yugi and Megumi have formed a bond with Nobara. Especially Yugi. After Yuji’s passing during the events at the Detention Center, Nobara was seen to be upset. When he returned, she cried and asked him to apologize for upsetting her.
