Who We Are
AnimeTiger is an independent anime publication run by a small team of dedicated anime fans. We started this site because we were tired of clickbait listicles and surface-level takes from corporate media outlets. Every article we publish comes from someone who actually watches the shows, reads the manga, and cares about the medium.
What We Do
We publish in-depth anime analysis, honest reviews, character deep dives, watch order guides, and seasonal previews. Our goal is simple: be the site we wish existed when we were looking for thoughtful anime coverage.
We focus on quality over quantity. Every piece goes through editorial review before publication. We prioritize original analysis over regurgitated plot summaries — if you want a Wikipedia recap, there are plenty of those. If you want someone to actually tell you whether a show is worth your time and why, that’s what we do.
Our Editorial Standards
- Original analysis in every article — We don’t just describe what happens. We dig into why it matters, how it connects to broader themes, and what makes it work (or not).
- Honest recommendations — We won’t tell you everything is amazing. If a show has problems, we’ll tell you. If it’s genuinely great, we’ll explain exactly why.
- No spoilers without warning — Major plot points are always flagged. We respect the viewing experience.
- Regular updates — Watch order guides and seasonal content are updated as new information becomes available.
